Automatically delete files after conversion
I've got a bunch of .mobi ebooks I am importing into Calibre for bulk conversion to .epub. The process is working great, except I can't find anything to delete the original files after they're converted. I don't want to have duplicates of every book I have, and going through and deleting them manually would be awful. Ideally, I'd like an automated process so I can drop files into the watch folder, have them imported automatically when I open Calibre, convert to epub, then delete the mobi. Is there any way to do this?

@hurr88icane - for the add and convert - see Preferences->Add, in particular the Automatic Adding tab
To delete all formats of a given type (eg. MOBI) search formats:"=MOBI", select all books (ctrl/a), Remove files of a specific format (alt/del), select MOBI, press enter - job done. BR |
