Face of Betrayal by Lis Wiehl (Wikipedia), a former Federal Prosecutor and legal analyst for FOX News, is the 1st in her Triple Threat series of investigative suspense thrillers starring a cross-disciplinary all-female team consisting of a TV reporter, an FBI agent, and a Federal Prosecutor, this installment featuring a potentially politically-motivated possible kidnapping/murder cover-up, free courtesy of Christian imprint Thomas Nelson, which is owned by HarperCollins.

This has been previously offered free not just once, but twice (technically thrice if you count the free-with-t-shirt-purchase promotion), but not since 2010.

As noted in the old MR threads, apparently this is high on the mainstream-ish thriller-y content and low on the "inspirational" side, as it was noted back then that some of the customer reviews were apparently complaining that it wasn't Christian-y enough for them.
