Catalog output sorting

I cannot find way to get catalog output sorted.
I use epub output for catalog and select Authors and Description.
All fine but i would like to get book titles of author sorted by pubdate, not alphabetically.
Any help, please

EPUB is a book format.
That format offers a Menu (TOC) on the reader device with the usual sections: Author, Title, Series, Tags (inclusion selectable)

You want something different

You will probably need to 'roll your own' using the command line and your spreadsheet program (for visual beautification)

That output currently is perfect and works just like i want to have it.
But i would like that tiles under each author would be sorted by pubdate, not by title-alphabetically.
I load that epub to reader to be able see books and description of each.
