Reading with multiple readers
I recently bought a second ereader which is much faster than my old paper white. Which introduces an issue, how to do I sync across the two ereaders? Neither one of them has 3G, so in order to sync I will need to bring them home to my home network. During the day that might be a problem, I think that I will need to note the location number on one and input that on the second.

That's what I do when away from WiFi. I usually sync my Kindle at home before I go out though.

If they are both Kindles, you just need to connect to wi-fi, and sync both devices (the first one that you got to the position first, then the one you want to start reading on).

When I am not near wifi or do not activate it, I stop at the chapter points to make it easier to switch back and forth, which I do on a daily basis.

I sync between two Kobo's manually. I usually do it by searching for a specific sentance. It's never been a problem.
