Kindle 4 no longer detected after updating to Calibre 2.7 in OS X Lion 10.7.5
Have attached the debug report. thx

According to that debug report OS X is telling calibre there are no usb devices connected. This is likely because of some incompatibility between libusb and your system. (calibre 2.x switched to libusb to add support for MTP devices). I suggest you stick with calibre 1.48 until you are ready to upgrade your OS X install.
