I tried searching but couldn't find anything.

Can I add my user categories from Calibre to CC?

No. User categories are not per-book metadata.

I will look at calibre to see if it is possible to make a composite column containing the user categories in the same way one can do for virtual libraries.

Kovid accepted changes that allow one to make a composite column containing the user categories for a book. These changes will be in the next release.

The template for the column will be

Code:

program: user_categories()

It is worth noting that this is an expensive function that could slow calibre excessively. Once it is released, or now if you run from source, try it to see if the performance is acceptable.

No. That would require something like calibre's template language, which isn't something I am going to add to CC.
