Unhappy Calibre will not connect to Itunes

Just recently I have not been able to connect Calibre to Itunes. Has anyone else had these problems or is it just me?

Same here. I was able to connect with iTunes 11.x.x.x with Calibre 2.5.0. Today, iTunes has been updated to V12.0.1.26 which I can see as a major update.

Is there a fix or do you think we will just have to wait on an update to correct it?

When I go to calibre, click on connect/share and then click on Itunes nothing happens. I am currently using I books on both my Iphone and Ipad to read ebooks. Since I cannot seem to get calibre to connect or recognize Itunes any longer how can I put books on my Ipad and Iphone? I loved just clicking put on Device (which was Itunes) and then hooking up my Iphone or Ipad and it syncing.

Thanks for pointing this out BR. I posted the debug log after going thru Kovid's check-list.

I also see that there is already a bug report on iTunes therefore did not think it necessary to post another similar bug.

I am hoping that someone with the right knowledge will be able to fix this problem, as GRiker, from memory, is away on an extended vacation.
