tried to import books into new install of calibre on windows 8.1

I just got new laptop and I downloaded and installed the latest version of calibre on it and I was trying to add my books from my old laptop which were on a flash drive and I got this error

I look forward to hear how I can get my books loaded

@kiwikane - should be no need to import books, just use the library on the USB stick as is - see attachment
