Add tag from author and specific column

Dear all,

- I want to add for all my books the author name as a tag
- I have also a "personal column" and I want to add the content of this column as a tag for all my books.

(tag is the tag metadata)

Can you help me for this ?

Use the Bulk Edit Metadata dialog (select multiple books and click Edit Metadata).
The third tab will allow you to perform Search & Replace across metadata fields; you can capture the contents of one field and overwrite or append another field with that info.
