Custom layouts for cover browser feature request

Hi,
Lately I have been toying with several media servers (Plex, the app formerly known as XBMC, mediabrowser etc.).
Whats common to all these is the ability to see a beautiful "artist"/"Collection"/"series" centric view (all albums by the same artist, all movies by the same actor, All episodes of the same series etc.).
This view is usually dominated by a beautiful image, a bit of background or autobiographic text etc.

So - this got me thinking a bit - and I would like to suggest a few new features (i broke them into 4 pieces as most are independent.)

1. Feature 1: When dealing in books, 3 key aspects are author, Series and to a lesser extent, publisher. I would really love to have the ability to add metadata for these 3 items (author biography and picture, Series description and picture, publisher description and logo). this can be done manually or automatically.
2. Feature 2: add grouping capability in the cover browser - my main use case is to group books according to series or author, but you can think of any other way. It will be great if the grouping will have a header with the group name.
3. Feature 3: Assuming we have feature 1 and 2 above, when clicking on an author in the tag browser, add a header with the author picture and description on the top part of the cover browser, and below it you can see the author books (grouped by series for example). This is very much like what you see in author pages in Itunes or in Amazon.
Clicking on Series, will show the header and picture of the series, and same for publisher (with authors or series groups below).

I added a screenshot from itunes on how an author page look like. this is more or less what I'm thinking here.

4. Feature 4: It would really be interesting is if it will be possible to create custom pages. for example, say I want to create a custom page for Arthur Conan Doyle Sherlock Holmes - similar to sites like camden house - where there are different lists of the Sherlock Holmes stories and some custom text and images. This will allow to create kind of beautiful books "bundles". this is usually web server territory - and I think limited HTML should be used here, but it will be great to view this natively in Calibre without the need to mess with another server - and it can be used for web display as well.
in my mind this can be very powerful tool for anyone using Caliber to publish content.

So - hope this is interesting (at least for us collector types - as Caliber is THE tool for collectors)
