As advertised in the Kindle Daily Post (which I can't find with my browser, but read through the Kindle Store via Whispernet), you can get a free download of Orphans of Chaos by John C Wright. This is in addition to the two mysteries by Julia Spencer-Fleming: In the Bleak Midwinter and A Fountain Filled with Blood.

OK -- if I'd been paying attention, I'd have seen that this is the same book that TOR sent to my e-mail address on Friday as this week's free book.

Yes, it is. But, it is nice to add these books to my media library so I can just download them when ready to read... rather the connecting the Kindle to the PC.

To any moderators passing by, is there anyway to create a sticky so that all the free books are listed in one thread (not the recently converted public domain books)?

I don't know if a Kindle specific thread should exist or one multi-format list with each poster listing the format the free book is available in and the offer expiration date if known.

Julie Spencer-Fleming Freebies for Kindle--warning
I downloaded the two free books, In the Bleak Midwinter,and Fountain Filled with Blood. I got hooked on the series and bought and read the next two only to find out that number five which is crucial to the series is not available as an e book even though the last one is available. So disappointing.
