The Fire Inside by Virginia Cavanaugh is the 1st novel in her Lycan Lust series of f/m contemporary werewolf-on-werewolf erotic romances, free courtesy of publisher Ellora's Cave, who are currently going through a Dorchester-like meltdown where apparently they've been late paying author royalties, among other problems, and are suing a Dear Author blogger who's commented on the situation, having apparently never heard of the Streisand Effect or sensible uses of one's remaining presumably limited stock of money if keeping the business going is really that important in the face of internet gossip.

Anyway, the way I see it, freebie author Cavanaugh has books out from other small press publishers according to her website, so if you try this one and happen to like her writing, well, you can support her via those if the Ellora situation doesn't get resolved satisfactorily.
