Page numbers

It is possible to add page numbers to ebooks? I don't care if they match some printed edition, but I like knowing I have X pages in the chapter/book.

What format of book? What device or reading app?

Is this for your new Kindle? I'd assume it'll work like earlier eInk Kindles in that it'll send the apnx info when using send to device in Calibre. There's a checkbox in the Kindle interface plugin that you might have to check to send page number info (pretty sure mine was checked by default).
