M96 Out of Stock everywhere

I don't know if it is due to unexpected demand or a run of defective product, but the M96 is not available anywhere, even from Onyx.
Searching around the web, I could not find any for sale anywhere.
(I was able to restart my apparently-dead one by pressing the On button simultaneously with the + on the volume rocker).

Yes, I noticed this yesterday when I was looking on Amazon and found out it was no longer listed.

This doesn't have the bad press like the T68, so maybe it's just a temporary shortage?

However, I can see T68 production stopping dead in its tracks due to the reported number of supposedly 'defective' units hitting the market. (I wouldn't be surprised at a class-action suit against the company, or some such boycotting of that model.)

But not the M96, which appears to be getting good press overall.

This is just my opinion, of course. Your opinion may differ.

It's still on amazon uk

... am still holding off from getting this one and hoping a booxtor one will come back in stock so I can be sure of getting updates, but their store has gone from "Pre-order, available soon" to "out of stock", so should I grab the Amazon one while it exists?? Otoh am reviewing whether my rooted Nook is in fact big enough after all....

This should only be a temporary issue. Arta Tech customer service from Amazon says M96 will be restocked within 3-4 weeks. Still no information about i86, which is the one that I'm really looking forward to.

M96 will be available by the end of October. It is actually best seller and highly demanded everywhere. Unfortunately they have currently national holidays in China 1-8th of October and production of them is stopped..

Thanks for the clarification! If they need to catch up on M96, will the much-anticipated i86 be available at your store by the end of October, like you previously said?
