Demon Witch by Geoffrey Huntington, a pseudonym of NYT Notable Book non-fiction listee William J. Mann (ISFDB, Wikipedia), is the 2nd in his Ravenscliff series of YA paranormal gothic dark fantasy/light horror starring a plucky teenaged orphan discovering his magickal birthright and world-saving destiny (as they so often do), this installment featuring the obligatory fight scene against another magickal personage of The Ancient Evil Who Used To Be One Of Us® against whom Our Hero shows off his heroing chops, free courtesy of publisher Diversion Books, who are reprinting it from HarperCollins' Regan Books imprint's 2003 release.

We've previously received the 1st in this series free last month, and this time around, the 2nd has two sets of author promo noises. I kind of wonder if the 3rd book has three authors praise-blurbing it, but not enough to actually go look it up.
