Organizing My Calibre Library

Okay, so I went through several pages in here and haven't seen a topic for it, so I'm going to ask.

I have a very large library and while the system is amazing, I'm having a problem being able to organize it, especially given my siblings and parents like to get books from my computer. Outside of just tagging things, is there a way to create easy to use lists? Think playlists, like on iTune or other media managrs, where you can drag and drop the files to create different lists.

So far, I've found one plug in called Reading List, but it's not exactly very user friendly. Is there any chance on the next update we could get some lists/playlists?

Maybe use virtual libraries? It really depends on how you want to organize your library, and how you want that library to be accessed.

I'd go with virtual libraries accessed through one or several content server instances.

Following the VL think. You need some sort of system of flagging to base the VL's upon.

I recommend AGAINST using Tags (the standard one) as they will get inserted into the jacket.

You can create a custom Tag like column. Those stay private.

Remember searches can Include or EXCLUDE. not tags: Adult
