Styling of H1 not as expected

Hi there,

if I look at my ebook in the ebook editor, the titles of the new chapters (H1) are half way through the page as they should be.
However, when I open the same ebook on calibre ebook reader, they are at the top of the page.

Which one is going to be more reliable?

Oh, I see... THanks a lot. Yes, taht takes care of it.

However I have one more question... I now seem unable to scroll through the pages. I can use the blue arrows on the menu, ma the page doesn't seem to adjust itself, so I often end up with the last line only being partially visible. In other words, it looks more like a continuous scroll and not a collection of pages like in a book. Am I making any sense?

@Arkadian - I normally use the Page Up/Down and Arrow keys to scroll the text. And I normally use the mode where 'scroll' button is 'pressed', in that mode the arrow keys will move the text up and down a line at a time.

Viewer Preferences->Flip Options has some settings that alter mouse behaviour. As do the OS Mouse settings of course, eg I have my mouse wheel vertical scrolling set to 3 lines.

The only time I use the mouse on the Viewer is to scroll with the wheel when I don't want to give it focus (courtesy of WizMouse).

Look at the top and the bottom of the page.

However I have managed to get the page up-down working (I had to press the fn key...)

@Arkadian - yes, I get half lines like that too. But if I use the Up/Down arrow keys it moves by a bit, and after a couple of down arrows it seems to get aligned.

I've never found a way to get the calibre viewer (or any browser) to scroll with the mouse the way I think they should, for me they're always jerky.

There are other EPUB Viewers for Windows you could try, but many of them want to manage your library. The underlying assumption seems to be that e-books are read on e-readers like Kindles and Nooks.

BTW: rather than cluttering up your drop box, you can attach images to your posts here, in Advanced mode scroll down and click the Manage Attachments button.
