List of all (currently) supported CSS properties
Hi, there.
Is it possible to get (fetch) the list of all (currently) supported CSS properties by E-book Viewer and Editor, including -webkit related ones? I'm writing my own stylesheets for epub books, and the above mentioned list would really come handy - instead of trial/error method to find out which one works/or not. Yours sincerely, ribik ![]() |

The viewer and editor both use WebKit.

Be aware that your ultimate targeted e-book reader might not reflect the calibre viewer capabilities, thus presenting possible interesting rendering results there.

I'm aware of that fact. It is for personal use anyway. I'm an old fart still coding in plain text editor, but I like to have my books looking nice and pleasant to read.
What I'm referring to is following: WARNING: CSS: Property: Unknown Property name. [293:2: -webkit-column-break-after]****[OEBPS/styles/style.css] So, obviously not all CSS properties are supported, therefore the question about the list. BTW, thank you guys for prompt answers. ribik |

That warning exists because that property is not a valid CSS 2.1 property. It does not mean that the viewer or editor dont support it.

Most current e-readers support CSS version 2.1, so the check just indicates that an offending property might not be properly rendered (or even ignored).
