Clearing the contents of the clipboard since 2.0?

I often begin editing the metadata of a book in my library, open the file with the viewer, flip to the copyright page, copy the ISBN and then go back to editing metadata. I formerly used the "paste" button next to the ISBN field to paste the number right in. Since 2.0, this doesn't work. As soon as I copy the ISBN from the viewer, it seems to clear the contents of the clipboard. I can't paste the number into Calibre, or any other program. This worked fine until I upgraded to 2.0.

Anyone else confirm the issue? I'm running 2.0.0 on Ubuntu 12.04.

Thanks to you both. I'm loving that plug-in so far.

I appreciate the advice.
