Alternating line shadows on book list

After updating to 2.0, my book list no longer has the alternating line shadows which are very handy for viewing.

Is there a switch to turn them back on? I didn't see anything when going through the preferences.

Thanks for a great product.

They are there, they are just a little fainter. Unfortunately the colors come from Qt (the graphics toolkit calibre uses) and are not really customizable.

Too bad, because they are definitely not showing up on my monitors. Not even a hint of color.

I have the opposite problem. The alternating row colors is much darker than before with "calibre stlye".

Under Windows 8 "system default" style is now closer to what it was in 1.48. You can also try to change your monitor's contrast, mine disappear if I increase by just 1%

The new 2.1 update fixes my book list problem. The alternating lines colors are back to what I had in the 1.48 version.

So, a big thank you for whatever the change was to bring back this behavior.
