Onyx M92 with broken screen

dear all
few days ago my onyx 92 showed a problem on the display without any phisical problem ( crash or something similar) (see picture)
i would like to know where is possible to repair it or better if it is possible to change with Onyx M96 paying the difference
Some one could help me on that?
I am Italian so , first of all i apologize for my english, and second there is some distributor in Italy that i can contact?

Try to contact Booxtor directly, he might be able to diagnose the exact problem from the screenshot. You also should ask him about the possibility of the exchange you suggest.
I don't know if there're any distributors in Italy but in general Onyx doesn't seem to have many.
I know for a fact that here in Spain their readers are released under another brand but I don't know if they would be willing to repair a "Onyx" branded unit

i have written to onyx support and they promtly informed me to contact Artatech but after 2 email to them i got no feedback
i do not want to lose my warranty that will expire in september
could you please explain to me how to contact Booxtor ?

I dont think that is a broken substrate. More likely the screen controller is faulty. You should be covered for this okay in the warranty. Good luck.

I thought you'd have bought it directly from Booxstor. If you bought if from Artatech I don't know if your warranty can be legally handled by other reseller. Booxstor is a user in this forum you can try PM him.

onyx-book.com is Artatech in Poland. Nothing to do with Booxtor.

but still it s not clear to me
I bought it from Onyx Boox Europe so i do not know if this is Artatech or a different seller
also it is not clear to me who is the producer ( Onyx International?) and who is the seller
I was called today from European consumer center and they will try to proceed with the request because accordling to European law i am in right position
now i got a technical question but no confirmation for the repairing or the warranty. i tried to call them but no answer from customer service.
i really would like to solve this issue

If you bought it from onyx-boox.com, the retailer is Artatech.

A fracture of the screen substrate isn't a warranty issue - it's user damage. A warranty only covers manufacturing defects.

Sorry Harry but how can you see that is a fracture of the screen substrate? there is no damage on the screen glass , it never drop, and it still work also if not in an appropriate way. could be a problem in the contacts, in the chips or anything. At the end i only want their answer but still nothing
