calibredb add metadata issue
Hi all,
I'm using Calibre Portable on Windows to edit some ebook, convert en the export in epub format. I don't want separate cover or metadata file, just all embedded in epub. After the export, I move those ebooks on my linux calibre server (where the main libray stay) and add them using calibredb. But I got this strange error: Traceback (most recent call last): File "site-packages/calibre/customize/ui.py", line 347, in get_file_type_metadata File "site-packages/calibre/customize/builtins.py", line 191, in get_metadata File "site-packages/calibre/ebooks/metadata/epub.py", line 230, in get_metadata File "site-packages/calibre/ebooks/metadata/epub.py", line 136, in get_zip_reader File "site-packages/calibre/utils/localunzip.py", line 234, in __init__ File "site-packages/calibre/utils/localunzip.py", line 210, in _extractall ValueError: Not a ZIP file The book is added as well but without cover and comments. Doing the same process from a Linux machine where calibre is installed, the import works fine. All Calibre programs tested are 1.45 (latest, taken from the calibre site) Do I must do some kind of windows-to-linux conversion, before add those ebook? thanks a lot in advandage |
