only few books after search

Hi, I purchased CC only two days ago and I am still working to get everything working.

Today I connected to my Calibre Library, with around 3700 books.

Then I tried to search for a word that I know that the response should be 1715 books as Calibre on my desktop shows. However CC shows only around 30 books found. Then I search for the letter "a" and the behavior was the same: around 30 books found.

What am I doing wrong ?

How many books have you sent to CC? Your entire library or a subset of it? My guess is a subset. CC searches only the books that have been sent to it.

CC tells you how many books are in its database at the top of the grouping drawer after you tap on the word "Groups" to disable all grouping.

Only one was downloaded until now.
When I say Search, I mean search the content server.

It seems that CC is not showing all the results from the content server. When I perform the search on a WebBrowser (Chrome) I get all the results, but in CC, it only displays around 30 results at most, no matter what I am searching for.

In calibre, go to Preferences / Sharing over the net. What is the value in the box "Max OPDS items per query"?

Edit: I don't mean to be obtuse, but i think that the value I pointed at controls how many results are given back by calibre to OPDS clients like CC. If the number in that field approximates the number of books you are seeing returned then try making it larger. Do note however that there could be performance and memory issues if you make it very large.

Thanks Chaley, it worked.

I increased the Max OPDS and now it works.
