I ran out of memory, so then I uninstalled some apps that were heavy on memory like e-sword, but I still don't have all the memory I would need for the update. I'm starting to get really sick and tired of this e-reader, if I use the option to delete data from my eternal memory, will that just move all the apps and everything, and keep the folders with the important information still in tact?

Then sell the thing and stop whinging. Your post ia more a rant than a constructive request for help. You don't tell us what application you had installed, what you then uninstalled, what "memory" you have, what memory you need for the update, and even what update you are trying to do. There are indications you can't move from one firmware to another, at least in one direction and perhaps both.
If you genuinely want help, then take the time and post accurately at least the basic information needed. |

apparently it s possible to swap the internal memory against the external memory card : http://the-digital-reader.com/2014/0...comment-527859
you might need root to do that |

The section of internal memory where apps go is somewhat limited, at maybe 470 MB. However, you can go to settings and find the app manager (it has different names depending on whether you have the Booxtor or the Artatech version), select one or more apps, and just move them to (internal) sd card. No root needed.

I realize that apps need to reside in the internal memory or the internal SD card, but do you store your books there as well I wonder?
If so, then an external SD card for the books is a way to manage all available memory more efficient. Forgive me if I seem to state the obvious. I'm asking because I can't see for sure if you're already employing an external card. |

Eric - the T68 is not a "take it out of the box and start using it" device like a Kindle or a Nook, but stick with it. Find apps that work well on it, and it's great. For reading, I'd recommend using Calibre Companion to manage your library, and Moon+ as a reading app. |
