"Saving books to disk" settings seem to be ignored
I tried to change different settings in "Saving books to disk" section - for example, I unchecked "Convert non-English characters", checked "Replace spaces with underscores", changed filename template - but none of these changes take effect: all books are saved with default parameters (although new parameters are saved and displayed correctly in "Preferences" window). I am quite puzzled and would be grateful for any tips.
Thanks in advance!

P.S. I'm using Calibre 1.44 [64bit] under Windows 8.1

Saving books to disk is for controlling books saved outside of calibre's library using the Saving books to Disk feature. The structure within calibre's library is not user configurable.

(It's a pity that Calibre doesn't allow to configure this parameters)
