K4nt for k3 3G

My friend is going to china,he is thinking trade his k4nt wifi for a k3 3G(I suggest pw,but it's his money and decision),he just want to confirm a few things

1:kindle 3G can be used in China?
2:how screen difference between k4 nt and k3?
3: if he trade k4 wifi for k3 3G,it's a straight trade or one side has to add cash?

Any other thought?

Looking at the coverage map from the Kindle Keyboard (K3) page at Amazon there is coverage in China. As to if there is coverage in the specific needed area(s) the map would need to be checked.

2:how screen difference between k4 nt and k3?

The use the same screen. Things may look slightly different due to different software, but they both use the 600x800 Pearl screen.

If I was the one with the K3 +3G I'd definitely expect some cash if I was trading it for a K4. Others may feel different.

Thank you. I know in china,they censor some web like twitter,but My friend shouldn't have problem if He used 3G to access twitter,right?

If you were the guy who want to trade k4, are you willing to add cash?

Sorry, no idea. I've never tried to access Twitter from a Kindle so don't know if it works at all, let alone if it works in China.

I definitely think a K3 3G is worth more than a K4. Not only does it have the 3G access, but more storage and audio.

Just wanted to add what others have said about the screen. (And, BTW, I agree that a 3G Keyboard should sell for more.) To me the Keyboard's screen seems a little crisper, maybe slightly "whiter," but the fonts are not quite as dark. Otherwise I can't tell the difference. Both seem to use the exact same fonts and both have the same "progression bar" at the bottom.

It comes standard with the every 6 page refresh, but can be changed to every page refresh in the Settings.

CORRECTION: The K4's settings can be changed, BUT the K3 will refresh on every page. No way to change it. I got myself turned around. Sorry.

Thanks. Because my DXG refresh every page and my friend K4 refresh every 6 pages,so we are confused about K3

I'm sorry. I gave you the wrong information -- I'll correct my other post. The K3 will refresh on every page. No way to change it. For some reason I got it in my head that you were asking about the K4 (which clearly you weren't). Sorry for the bad information.
