New U.S. Ambassador to Switzerland Swears Oath on a Kindle
This is kind of cool IMO. While taking her oath of office, the new US Ambassador to Switzerland put her hand on a Kindle eReader rather than the traditional Bible (or whatever they use). According to the article, "The device was open to the 19th Amendment to the Constitution, which in 1920 guaranteed women the right to vote."

That's neat. If it were me, I would've used the 9th Amendment (unenumerated rights).

Works for me too! It makes no sense to me to swear an oath to an invisible, silent, unverifiable being. They might as well be swearing an oath to 50 Shades of Grey. It would have the same impact on me--none.
