Declaring default values for columns
I've created a number of custom columns. Is there a way I can set a default value? So that when books are added to the library, the value is automatically set.

@Snow Sciles - AFAIK not directly.

However, you can mark books as they are added, then you could select the marked books and use the Search and Replace in bulk metadata edit to set the default values, it has the ability to store your S&R choices for future reuse.

Thanks for the suggestion BetterRed. I use this alongside Jimm's ffdl and reading list integration method.

BTW I also meant to say - being able to set a default value for custom columns is a good idea. It would be a nice thing to have for custom columns.
