Edit TOC request

Can we add an option to remove all child entries from a currently selected batch of parent TOC entries? It was a ball-ache doing them one by one on a book the other day.

I also notice most options in the Edit TOC dialog won't apply to a multiple selection - even if you have multiple entries selected, most options will only apply to one of them when clicked.

CLck the first entry you want removed, press the shift key, click the last entry you want removed. Click the delete button.

All the entries I wanted removed were sub-entries of others.

So hold down control and click them instead of shift.

That's what I mean, there were literally hundreds of them, very time consuming. What I was looking for was a way of selecting all the parent entries (which would be much quicker), then a button to remove all the sub-entries for the selected parents.

But then what if you wanted to remove every second child entry of every parent etry, or every alternate child entry or ....

At a certain point there are limits to how many buttons once can add to a ui.
