Hello Mobileread forum folks!

My intro post is actually my second post

I'm new to the mobile reader device world though not to e-books-I'd been using my Dell Axim x50v to read e-books but it wasn't totally fitting the bill. I have wanted a reader for some time, I just couldn't make up my mind as to which would fit me best. I decided on the Kindle and I've had a very happy 3 days so far!

I've lurked the forums for a few weeks and now proudly step out of the shadows to join in

Good idea to make your choice before posting... since HarryT would have told you how the Cybook is superior to all devices large and small.

*grin* So many are Quite adamant about their choices, so deciding was a wee bit hard! I tend to think there are no wrong devices, just the right one(s) for me, and try to shop accordingly

I Will admit that while lurking, there were so many times when I wanted to jump in and say something from the "vast" knowledge I'd gained from reading so much but I was able to contain myself!

Thank you all for the welcome, I look forward to jumping in as I learn more!
