HTML TO epub without image error

Firstly i m a total novice don't have a in depth knowledge abt coding

I wanted to covert a ebook from HTML to epub

So i used calibre and job was done

but most of the HTML don't display other the images like logo

after conversion into epub its results into a "blue question mark" icon in the epub file

i tried converting htm to txt or doc but the font gets disrupted

and converting to pdf it has same issue as epub.

is there any way i can edit epub file and remove the "blue question mark" icon

Where did this book come from? Is it a web site, did you buy it as HTML, or what?

i solved the problem .
i basically needed a easy way to edit epub page by page like we do in .doc or text file

i downloaded the below software (trial version)which helped to remove unwanted symbols from epub file ( converted from HTML)

That looks like an illegal clone of the free and open-source Sigil ebook editor.

It's probably based on an out of date version, if so.

Edit: no, reading their website closer, it looks like they have a few frills Sigil doesn't have (unless someone sneakily added dropcaps autogeneration without me noticing) but the GUI looks suspiciously similar, according to their screenshots.

It's free and powerful, what more do you need?

Besides for calibre's new Edit Book, which only does code view but does it more beautifully. For advanced users only.

I notice you did not respond to HarryT's question.

If you made a copy of a book you own or got off the Harlequin web site for your own use, this is probably ok. If distribute it, it is illegal and you are depriving the authors of their income.

The stories on their website are copyright 2014.
