[EXPIRED] Baen May 2014 Bundle - 7 books/$18
Just a reminder that if you want to buy Baen's May 2014 Bundle, seven SF/Fantasy books for $18, you only have TEN DAYS left to buy it. The bundle will come off sale sometime on the 15th April 2014, and the full bundle can be downloaded by those who've bought it sometime from the 16th April 2014 onwards.

The total cost of the individual books is about $61 So if you don't already have any of the books in the bundle, that's a discount of around 70%!

I should also mention that most Baen books are now also available through Kobo and are couponable.

What's the difference between the 1st and 2nd editions from Baen?

Is it changes to the novel itself, or just a foreword/afterword type thing?

According to a review it is simply an afterword by the author. Kind of lame. I got it in the bundle, so I don't mind getting the same book twice, but if I'd bought it by itself for new content I would have been annoyed.

It's just a new foreword or afterword. The main reason for the second editions is to be able to have a book in the Baen Free Library, but also get it listed on Amazon.

Only three days left to get the May Baen Bundle.

Since Baen books are now discountable at Kobo, and I only really want one book from this month's selection, I'm not getting the bundle myself.

But if you don't have any of the books it's a good deal.

True in general but, there are exceptions so Eric Flint's 1632 2nd Edition had some revisions as well as an afterword whereas the original ebook has the hc text with the revisions in the mmpb never previously making it to ebook.

Last day to get the May bundle.

(I'm pleased to say that the books from the May bundle are now showing at Kobo as advanced orders with availability set for tomorrow. Since I only really want one book from this bundle, I'll be trying to buy from Kobo tomorrow with a coupon code.)
