eBook sub-book separation

Hi there,

I have a book in ePub format that contains multiple sub-books. I'd like to export each book into its own separate book, but I'm not exactly how to go about doing this. Can this be done? Is there an easy way to do it?

The calibre EpubSplit plugin does a good job. It's totally unrelated to the calibre Editor. You can read about it here.

Sub books or separate books?

For separate books: (normal) Calibre and the EPUB_Split plugin

Sub books:

I just use a differing TOC level

h2 for the Sub-book titlepage and top level
h3 for chapters

if any of the books also have Parts
h1 for the Sub-book titlepage ant top level
h2 for Part
h3 for chapters

Separate books, so EPUB_Split plugin it is!
