Entire book in a bold font
Hi, can you please explain how to convert an epub book, which is in a bold font, to mobi, so the font will became normal - regular?
Of course there are also words or sentences in bold-italics which I don't want to loose - they need to became just normal italics...

Someone else will doubtless offer a cleaner solution, but if I were pursuing this in the laziest way possible, I'd download a copy of Sigil, open the shockingly bold epub with it, select all, unbold everything, save the book under a slightly different name ("[Author - Title].v2.epub") and then convert it to mobi in Calibre.

Just add "font-weight" to:
Conversion ==> Look & Feel ==> Filter Style Information (tab) ==> Other CSS Properties (text input box)

I put

font-weight: 400

there and it doesn't work... Perhaps I am wrong, I don't know what should I put there...

I thought that I have to specify it, according to what I have found on Google e.g. this should work:

font-weight:normal

but it doesn't...

That is for setting a font-weight.

Filter css removes all rules for that type, whatever the value.
