Weird association of a book to a song. I wonder why...
As the title implies.
For some reason, whenever I think of or hear the song "Velveteen" by Kidneythieves, I have to think of Neuromancer. Especially during the refrain. Is this weird? (I'm not asking if I'm weird - that has been proven long ago). I guess associations of music to books are normal - but I can't really say why this song and that book. Both are good, if a bit weird, though. So, not to make this just about me. What about you? What do you think of when you hear that song? (Kidding, what other songs immediately bring memories of a book to you?) |
