Book 'Comments' Field
I have had a quick check for anything relative but could not find a relative post.
I know the font for 'Comments' can be altered in size globally via Preferences. Has it ever been considered as an option for a particular book. There are a lot of font type options for every books 'Comments' except for 'Size' or 'Font Type'. Has this been raised before but found to be not possible? mitch13 |

The comments are HTML. You can edit the HTML and do pretty much anything you want.

Editing 'Comments'
Thank for that Kovid.
However if anyone is not familiar with HTML how do you alter the font? Is it not possible to have a 'font' option in the 'Normal' view - everything else seems to be there. mitch13 |

Changing font sizes for the comments of individual books is not a good idea and not something I want to encourage. It can cause chaos when those comments are used in other contexts, like metadata jacket pages or catalogs or in the calibre content server. As such, adding a user friendly UI for it is not something I am willing to do.

Not for a particulat book, but if no font is specified in the comments' html then the comments will use whichever font you have specified for the calibre GUI under Preferences - Look and Feel.
