How do I add a synopsis to a book on Kobo I've already uploaded and published. There doesn't seem to be an option to edit?

When you sideload a book, it is processed the first time by the device. Information about the book is added to the internal database which is used for the library. The metadata is part of the information that is stored.

Unfortunately, the device doesn't have a way to update this information except by deleting the book and sideloading it again. But, if you use calibre, my Kobo Utilities Plugin has a way to update the metadata for books that are in the calibre library and are on the device.

Are you referring to a book you've published on Kobo through Writing Life and you want to add/update the synopsis that shows up on the site?

Yes. My book is published through Writing Life but I forgot to add a synopsis.

Maybe try asking in the Writer's Corner forum, you might have better luck finding someone familiar with using Writing Life. Or maybe you try asking Writing Life on twitter
