File Naming on Nook STR
I know, the info is somewhere on the forum, but a quick search did not find it.
We had to pick up a Nook Simple Touch for my wife, as she left her Sony at home leaving for an extended trip. I need to get SOME organization to the books I loading on it. I know that I cannot use the shelves through Caliber. I seem to remember that with the Kindles, one work around was how the books were names on the device to make it sort them in by Author and series or title. How to do this on the Nook? Thanks, again, I am traveling, so not a lot to time to deal with this. |

If I understand you correctly, you just want to make sure that you send the file with the pattern you require in your organization. I personally have a custom column that shows a ~ if the book has a series, then i have my items filed differently based on that...for example

If you just want it all in the title it would probably be something like Quote:

I tried this - {author_sort}-{title} - {series}{series_index} in Send to Device Preferences.
But it the titles show up on the device just as the title. |

Are you using a plugboard for the STR...you may need to check that in the preferences

Your device may be looking elsewhere for what it uses to display. Which device make and model? someone familiar can then help you. |
