PRS-T3 Charge level is insufficent wi-fi will turn off

Hi,

Today I received this error message, "charge level is insufficent wi-fi will turn off."

However, I had just recharged my device over the weekend and my wi-fi was turned off. To be clear it was not in standby mode.

Is it possible for the wi-fi to turn on by itself? Or is the "wi-fi will turn off" a generic message that shows up anytime the battery is low?

I would appreciate any advice on this matter because everything I read said the battery should last longer than my PRS-650. At the moment that is not the case.

I've had that happen on my PRS-T1 when wifi is already off - I think it's just a message the pops up anytime the battery is low.

I'll charge it this afternoon and monitor how long it takes for the battery to drain to make sure I'm not missing something. I could have sworn I charged it over the weekend and I haven't read that much. or used the wi-fi for anything.

Having said that it is good to know that this is a generic message and it may not be my wifi that is the problem. Maybe it wasn't charged all the way to begin with?

A couple times, my PRS-T1 has run out of power a lot faster than usual. After I finished reading and deleted my most recently acquired book, the problem went away and the reader went back to holding the charge normally, so I think maybe something was wrong with those particular books.
