How can I jailbreak PW2 5.4.2.1?

I just bought my kindle paperwhite and its firmware version is 5.4.2.1 (2187320002) First I tried to downgrade it to 5.3.5, but "Update Your Kindle" link in the settings keeps graying out. After that, I downloaded the jailbreaking tools useable for 5.0.x - 5.4.2 firmware version, and tried to jailbreak the device one more time, but it didn't work.

So is the jailbreaking tools not availble for 5.4.2.1 yet?

#1 - That is correct, PW1 and PW2 use different hardware.
The updater / update package's "hardware version lock" just saved your ... .

#2 - Please elaborate on "it didn't work"
