DOWNLOADING BOOKS FROM GUTENBERG TO KINDLE?
I have a mac air and am having difficulty transferring books from the mac air to my kindle. Lots of suggestions but can't seem to have any success.

I use the Kindle transfer program for the Mac that Amazon put out, I think originally it was just for files and pics, but it works for ebooks as well. I would think that might be workable?

What exactly is the problem? Can you not download from the website onto your computer? Is your Mac not seeing your Kindle? (Which Kindle do you have, anyway?) Can your Mac see your Kindle but the Kindle doesn't sense any new books being added?

It would help if you told us exactly what you were doing, and what errors you're getting. Simply saying that you're having "difficulties" is no help in diagnosing your problem.
