Save to Device file format

I have tried saving books to a Galaxy Tab 3 10.1, a Galaxy note 10.1 and a Tescos Hudl. The files always save as {title - author .ebup}. I have tried all sorts of templates in the Preferences - Import/Export to disc and to device and cannot change it to {author - title .epub}
The files are always saved in a folder called 'Books' with no sub folders.

Help please

With your device connected, right-click on the Device button and select "Manage this device". Enter your template there.

This place always overrides the General default set in Preferences.
This way, each device type starts out with the, then, current default.

Thanks, theducks. I thought that was how it worked but wasn't entirely sure.

Thank you very much.

I looked everywhere I could think of for the correct procedure and couldn't find the answer.
I must have been asking the wrong questions
