New on Mavericks
I'm a long time user of Sigil on Kubuntu. I just switched to a MacBook Pro Retina running Mavericks. I got Sigil from the official Sigil site. I set Mavericks to open Sigil automatically on double click of an epub. However, it doesn't work. I get an open Sigil instance, but the book is not shown. Also, Drag'n'Drop doesn't open the book. In both cases I get an "<p> </p>" in the area that should be code. Only using the Sigil file/open and searching through the file system for the book seems to work.
Do I have a setting wrong? Do I need to adjust something in System Preferences? Do I need to figure out to get AppleScript to open Sigil? TIA |

I can't help with the Apple part.
the <p>  ;</p> showing is a normal (blank book) start, for cases without a book being loaded . Can you NOW load a book from the File menu? |

Thanks, the   confused me. Yes, I can open from the blue folder icon or from file/open, but it means wandering around the file system to find the book I want. It's the open with or drag'n'drop that doesn't seem to work on Mavericks.
