Books Disappear from Virtual Library.

I have just discovered a strange problem with virtual libraries.

I split my catalogue into two using virtual libraries then I moved one library to another place because I didn't have enough space on the USB drive I carry around.
What I was left with was my main catalogue on a USB drive with a virtual library of no Star Trek or Star Wars using this search expression to define it"not tags:"=Star Trek", not tags:"=Star Wars"".

When I added a book today it disappeared from view, If I close my virtual library the book re-appears along with some more that I hadn't realised had gone from view.

The only Tag this book has is New Book which is auto added by Calibre on Add.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Try removing the comma. A comma is not the same thing as AND. It is probably being interpreted as a separate criterion, which is almost certainly not what you want.

That worked thanks, it just seamed strange that it only effected a very small percentage of my books, all good now.
