The above file name is invalid
I have a number of books I want to import into Calibre, but for some reason half the books don't import. When I try to import them separately I get a "The above file name is invalid" error message. Yet, I can view them external to Calibre and they appear to be standard epub and mobi files!

You need to post the full error message, click the show details button on the error popup.
Although guessing, the files are likely in some location with special characters int he file name/path. |

That is the full error message! There's no "Show Details" button, only and OK button.

The string "The above filename is invalid" does not exist in calibre.
