Glo Adding extra "beta features"?

Is it possible to add/program extra "Beta Features" for the Kobo Glo? I think it used to be called Extras if you are wondering.

Adding these or any other compatible program using the fmon (included in pbchess install) gives you the same effect as they are launched by the same process as selecting a book using the existing Kobo software.
