Smile problems with galaxy 3 tablet 7inch
Afternoon all I have bought a galaxy 3 tablet 7inch and it has been freezing, & switching itself off I was wondering if anyone else has one and experienced these problems

Did it do this out of the box, or have you been running it for a while? Have you added software? I'd try doing a factory reset, then confirm it's working properly. If that fixes it, try loading programs individually and testing. Be particularly careful of system utilities that "optimize" the device since they may have been written for older Android versions.

If the reset doesn't fix it, definitely take it back for a swap.

It will help you, a lot. I know my Win8 for Dummies was a great help for me when I went from XP to 8. Dummies is a good brand.

You might also try an update if the restore doesn't work.

You need to download Kies from samsung then open it and plug in the tab .. it will tell you if there is an update. If there is figure an hour to update unless you have fast dsl

I think I scanned that book trying to find out how to modify the screen via touchwiz. It didn't mention it. Dreadful. You truly have to be an Android newbie to get anything out of it. Save your cash and go read a general free text on how to handle Android devices.
