Preferences-Icon missing since update to 1.17 (Mac OS X) [solved]
Since a acquaintance of mine updated Calibre from 1.8 to 1.17 the Icon for preferences in the toolbar is missing. So there now way to get in the preferences.
She is using Mac OSX 10.9.1. What shall she do? She already uninstall and reinstall Calibre, but it doesn't help. Even type CMD + P does not help. Here a screenshot of Calibre: Update: I don't know how, but my acquaintance has just noticed me, that it now works as intended. File closed

control-P (or the MAC equivalent)
will get you to Preferences. From there, you can customize the Toolbars to restore/move the Preferences icon |
