Hi - just installed 1.16 on my MacBook Pro (w/Mavericks) and get the following error. Any suggestions? I have uninstalled and reinstalled, but still get same error message. Thanks!! Rod

What drive did you use?
Is the folder also connected to a cloud? (you need to pause the cloud on the Library folder or a horribly sync mess will happen. Be sure to allow the sync to stabilize after closing Calibre

ePub books are on my NAS. Never had this issue until upgraded to Calibre 1.16. Guess I closed Calibre before sync completed. Any thoughts on correcting? Already did the full uninstall/reinstall... thanks for the quick response... Rod

A quick and dirty.
Open the caliber configuration folder and rename global.py (contains the path)
Start Calibre, this wil recreate the file with defaults.

that should prove Calibre still works
