Thumbs up hello, everyone!

before the blooming of e-reading technology, I was a bookworm.

after that, I surely become a e-bookworm.

I am very interested in reading (and also jogging). I am so exciting to find this website. hohoho...

Hi bully23 and welcome to the Forum. If you're a bookworm (or ebookworm), you are among friends here.

Don't advise reading while running but I do use my Sony ebook reader on the treadmill at the gym and like it a lot

Hi bull23:

Welcome to MobileRead.

I understand perfectly when you say you're an e-bookworm, since that pretty much describes me, too.

I'm sure you'll get "a lot of reading fun here," as you say. In fact, like you, I've always enjoyed reading but discovering ebooks a number of years ago has broadened my reading experience.

Also, if you are unaware of this, we have thousands of free, public domain ebooks on MobileRead. Myself and a number of other book lovers have carefully assembled these books and made them available for a number of the popular reading devices on the market.

Have fun with your Reader, and if you have any questions please let us know.

Actually, when I go to Gym, I use my IPAQ HX2495 or Palm TX. I love both of them.

How is your feeling for Sony e-reader. I would like to buy one, but I was discouraged by a lot of negative comments in AMAZON.co, etc.

can you kindly say a little more on it. Thanx.

Thanks for your posts to me, and your contribution to the forum.

By the way, can I find the e-book of "the complete book of running" authored by James F. Fixx. It is an old book published in 1980s. My doctor suggested me to have a look. I respect my doctor always as I repect God. Hehehe...

Thank you for the nice comments.

I did a quick search on the internet. Unfortunately, I didn't find the book available as an ebook - yet.

Also - unfortunately - I beleive the book is still in copyright, so we would be unable to assemble it here on MobileRead. All the books available here are either out-of-copyright titles, or we've been given permission by the author to post the book.

I remember this book very clearly. I read it when it came out in 1977. I think Fixx had a heart attack while running and there were some very bad jokes made at that time.

I like the Sony a lot. I use it with the MEdge leisure cover on the treadmill at the gym. Wish I could figure out a way to read it while I'm swimming (LOL).

I'm getting about two and half weeks a charge (I keep the memory stick out of the slot unless I need it...it holds lots of books but is a power drain).

OTOH, don't think you'd be unhappy with any of the current ebook readers on the market
